MMM… Homer is a challenging watch and it shows how far they can get with being disturbing. I think there was a discussion about people wanting Treehouse of Horror to be more horrifying. Honestly, I would rather watch MMM… Homer than any movie parody throughout the series. I kinda compare that episode to Terrifier. They’re not terrifying, but cringe inducing from the disturbing visuals.

Not gonna lie, Treehouse of Horror V is my all time favourite Halloween special of The Simpsons. Don't know why, but it's just so memorable, quotable & laugh-out-loud hilarious all at the same time.

Dry Hard and Moe Finger...I personally could understand why they chose to parody the Hunger Games apart from the fact that series of books and movies are popular (I mean Freeform showed that movie during halloween once despite it not being a halloween movie), I know they chose to parody Kingsmen but also they made it a Bond spoof by having Homer as the parody of Goldfinger (and also the ending song is a songs for the Daniel Craig Bond movies). I like the imaginary friend segment though.

Though it is funny in "Mmm Homer" what the parody of the "Messiah" begins to play both with Homer is cooking parts of himself and at the end when all the restaurants that sell Homer are shown.

I personally quite like homer³, its not scary, but it's uncomfortably weird seeing a cgi 3D Homer like that hut interesting to watch at the same time, though you're ranking is undeniably great.
