Your out of your mind if you think this is true. People think animals are friendly because you see cases of this from time to time, an animal helping a human. Go spend some time walking around, minding your own business, in any area that has “supposedly dangerous animals” and see how long you last. If a wild gorilla feels threatened it will kill you. They don’t even eat meat and they will kill you. This captive gorilla has a bunch of ladies and babies and all the food he could ever want. Why would he hurt a tiny lifeless child that in no way could hurt him? Why do wild gorillas interact with humans in the wild without ripping them apart? It’s because they are King Shit of Turd Mountain.
@shawn6970
@shawn6970 5 жыл бұрын
Jason Blaha Are you kidding? Many wild animals do not kill for fun. Either to sharpen their skills or for sustenance. Nature is hardly personal, everything’s just doing what they think they gotta do to survive. However, that’s not to say nature is as friendly folks make it out to be. Part of the reason people like nature so much is because we cleared out most of the dangerous animals that’d take pleasure tearing us a new asshole which why people can enjoy those hiking and skiing trips.

Gorillas represent us in so many ways. They can be violent as well as gentle. They can act like a mob when they want but can also be thoughtful and insightful. They can show great compassion when something tugs at their heartstrings, but can also coldly reject someone that’s different.

No, gorillas are not violent or aggressive unless absolutely necessary, and even then it is for display of strength rather than actually attacking. Humans are different. We are violent and aggressive just for power, greed and selfishness. Gorillas are far better than us even though we share over 98% of their genes.

jessie james Unfortunately, he was putting the boy in danger, whether he meant to or not. I doubt he had any intention of hurting the child (it would have been over real quick if he had), but he didn't know his own strength. He was also defensive and getting agitated by the crowd screaming at him, which is why he dragged the kid around, and why it ended that way. In this video, the crowd is much quieter, so Jambo was calm. It would have taken too long to sedate Harambe, and also may have agitated him even more.

@tranquility2745
@tranquility2745 7 жыл бұрын
jessie james He most certainly was not "protecting" the boy as Jambo was. He could clearly be seen dragging the child throughout the enclosure and the zookeepers were worried it could have led to serious injuries. Whether or not Harambe would have significantly injured the child or posed a serious risk is hypothetical, but the chance could not be taken.

I don't think the gorilla particularly cared about the boy, but was rather trying to ensure the safety of his troop in this unprecedented situation. A human falling into his habitat was clearly something he hadn't experienced and thus he wanted the rest of his troop to keep their distance. At the same time he was also clearly curious as gorillas tend to be interested in humans.

I think it goes both ways, We will never know Jambo's real reason of doing it, but I think he knew the kid was small and helpless, and he wanted to make sure it was ok but also being cautious like you said.

Does the boy live? Does the boy get molested in a series of foster families? What happens to the boy?

The boy did live. He went on to live a normal life. No harm caused by the gorilla at all. Just a fractured skull from the fall.

What are you talking about foster families for? The child has a family who brought him to the zoo. Of course he went back to them. They could have been watching him better but I guess they weren’t expecting him to act so crazy and fall into the Gorilla enclosure.

Wonderful ... I no longer want any zoos, I would rather have sanctuaries, conservation facilities, shelters. Like I would rather not have a big dog if I can't let it run in big spaces, what more with lions, elephants, rhinos ...
