I cannot give this enough thumbs up. Both for women and humanity in society. Celebrities should be speaking up more against injustice, there's still way too much of it in 2020 and that neess to change.

Why is it that the publications that actually created shaming culture by projecting unrealistic beauty standards and publishing immensely photoshopped shoots and advertisements (this, Vogue etc) seem to be bandwagoning on this without taking any accountability?

i was never insecure about my weight or body fat until my mother first shamed me. i was really sickly as a child and therefore skinny, but nobody really commented on me being skinny in a mean way, just told me that i needed to keep eating. eventually, i got less sick, but still was encouraged to eat more. when i was about 11 my mother started criticizing how my stomach was no longer flat, saying that i had gotten fat. from then on, i was always trying to be smaller than a person my age should've been. i toed the line of anorexia, knowing that if i didn't eat one whole day, then i wouldnt want to eat as much the next, trying to shrink down my stomach. my mother then caught me trying to not eat, and pointed out that she could tell i wasn't eating normally because of my neck. then i started to check my neck fat. it's funny how you can be entirely okay with yourself until somebody shames you or points something out.

She's honest about herself and her flaws and willing to speak up against Injustice. Not too hard to have those traits. And as a man those are traits I find very attractive.

i love her omg but i feel like people have such a negative conotation with the word "diet" when literally cutting out dairy for the enviornment is a diet. it's a dairy free diet. vegetarianism is a diet. cutting out white sugar/white flour to be healthier is a diet. choosing to eat the proper amount of fruits and veggies a day is a diet. i wouldn't say those are bad things, would you?
