Jameos del Agua - 3D laser scanning

Designed by the Spanish architect César Manrique between the years 1966-77, Jameos del Agua is worldwide known as a wonderful place where nature and mankind decided to come together.
Jameos del Agua is also the most downstream part of the Corona lava tube system, one of the world's largest volcanic cave complex with a total lenght of about 8km, comprising both dry and subemerged sections.
We have realized the 3D survey of the subemerged passages of the Corona system for more than 5km with the aim to study this volcanic cave by the geological point of view and to provide useful information to evaluate it's structural conditions.
