@@bmjs6707 The quality of Jonathan Ross' ITV guests is far worse than the calibre of celebrity he had on his BBC show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. It isn't just because the BBC are by far the most well known non-American TV channel within American circles; Jonathan Ross doesn't get many A-list non-British celebs is because his current interview technique is pretty terrible - it's negative and contrarian. Graham Norton used to get tons of Hollywood superstars on his show when he was on Channel 4 (V/So Graham Norton), despite almost nobody knowing what C4 is in the US. If Norton was on ITV he'd still have a couch of international superstars mixed with British comedians/actors...meanwhile, Jonathan Ross has Harry Redknapp, John Barnes and Naomi Campbell and Gemma Collins...

to be honest I think it seems that way just from this clip because each guest comes onto the show 1 by 1, and theyll pretty much spend a few minutes interviewing each one rather than just have them all there and involve them all at the same time. So seeing as this was like James's 10 minutes, the focus was near enough all on him

@@-M0LE Agreed Moley, I've heard many of the people (that have been on Graham Norton's show) talk about how they enjoyed it. They definitely relax and open up a lot more on there. A lot of chat shows are copying Graham's format, with the celebs all lined up on a couch, talking to the host (and each other), obviously this one (Jonathan Ross) but also some in the US are doing it now too... =o)

Honestly, I preferred that he was the only interesting one there. This resulted in more focus on Acaster. He was dynamite in this short interview. I feel like he even knew that the others wouldn't be too good to bounce off of, so he got that turtleneck to have more material.
