This a James and Harry storyline, so Ste only gets included when it's relevant for their plot. Which lucky for us currently means the bare minimum unless we finally get that divorce paper scene ^^,

@@bcnmanhattan5022 He's definitely gay numero uno, though I think that might change soon. For years Ste was the fan favourite, but James has really taken over since last year as the favourite one. So if the producers are smart they will dial down the Ste and raise the James as soon as possible. Though I also think BK is a big fan of Kieron and that might get in the way of what is smart for the soap vs what he wants.

@@Mesjoukje I don't think that bk can't distinguish between what he wants and what is good for the show. Kieron is a good actor and Greg is as well. So he has two good ones and can switch between them. I also think that it would be a mistake to dial down scenes and stories of Ste. He has his fans as well as Greg has. And some people (like me) love them both. Plus some really stubborn Stendan fans are still hoping for a reunion - at least as a leaving present for Ste.

@@keepsmile587 i'm one of those stubborn fans, but then I know Emmett has said he'd return if Kieron ever did leave the show, so I have my hope ^^. Personally, i'd dial down the Ste, but more because he's been at the forefront too much for the last 7-8 years, one drama after another and I'd like to see some other characters get a spotlight with a good long running storyline. I used to love Ste lots, and it might return if he's a bit more of a background character for awhile. (I do think Kieron is very talented, but that might be part of the problem here, like with Danny on Emmerdale). I know Ste has his fans, but I've also seen that number shrink over the course of the years due to the decisions made for his character. Obviously that is on BK, for not realising certain storylines can do more harm than good, especially for long standing characters.

@@eria5F he rejected Harry twice and for a reason. Yeah some people can handle bonding with a son and having a fresh relationship but we are talking about James. And he has enough to handle with the fact that he has a son by being raped. So my point stands. Someone who claimed that he loves someone would give that person space, support him without ulterior motives and wouldn't push him to start the relationship or move on in a blink of an eye... He didn't even seem to have had lovesickness - at least he didn't showed any signs of it.
