@@yoitsfrankiebtrainz A Lazy Diesels Redemption Dennis is a small gray diesel shunter that is very lazy and does everything with minimal effort and it often gets him in trouble. But one day his laziness would go too far and cause a very serious accident and it would cost him big time. Dennis was being a lazy git again leaving Rosie, diesel and other engines to run the yards and it caused major delay and some engines to fetch their own trains but the bends were too tight and they derailed delaying them even more or damaging them leaving Rosie and diesel to deliver trains. The fat controller finally lost passions and was extremely pissed off at the fact that Dennis wasn't taking his situation seriously, so he deconditioned him to an old sidings and ordered his brother Norman as a replacement and Norman tore into Dennis like a wolf into a rabbit for his terrible ways and that they were the last two of their class leaving Dennis scared and depressed. But over time Dennis was moved around to make room for other trains and soon was forgotten in a shed in the very back of the yards and had vine growing all over it. And the holes in the roof leaked in the rain and let in other animals and bugs, which over time caused him to rust and slowly made him give up on himself. But when Norman broke down the fat controller had parts taken off of Dennis and soon the engine in him was gone, only the cab and ventilation where his face was all that was left on his chasy. But one day a runaway fuel and scrap train came rolling in at 75 mph and crashed into Rosie and the impact was enough to cause an explosion which caused the scrap to go flying, which severely damaged the other two engines. During all the chaos and the thick wildfire in the yard some workmen were screaming for help and Dennis heard them and he yelled with all his might to follow his voice and climb in his cab to prevent any burns and suffocation, they entered the shed and saw dennis and then the shed started to collapse and he said hurry into my cab if you want to live as his cab door shut the entire shed collapsed on top of him. After the accident caused major damage to Rosie, Norman, Diesel and severely damaged the yards and sheds, Sir Topham Hatt servade the damage and noticed the shed that collapsed over Dennis and when the wreckage was lifted he saw the workmen and some animals took refuge in his cab and engine bay. The workmen explain how he saved them and shielded them from the fire, when they finished Sir Topham Hatt saw Dennis’s body and frames were in good enough shape to receive a light overhaul and that all Dennis needed was a new engine, some rewiring, and cleaning. So he gave Dennis another chance, but it would also be his final chance and if he failed he would be sent for scrap. Dennis was taken to the diesel work and after his frames were given a light overhaul he received a new modern engine they had for emergencies and they basically gave him an overhaul and after they modified his engine bay to fit his new engine it was placed in and hooked up within a few weeks. After all the tests were done he found out he not only ran better and all his failed and rusted away parts were replaced and with his new engine he felt more energetic and powerful. Dennis would work his absolute hardest and wouldn’t rest until he was told to stop and rest be the forman. He kept remembering the words in his head: We're the last of us, your final chance, and every bad thing the engines and workman said about him. But when the forman saw him beginning to overwork himself he told the fat controller and started keeping a log book of everytime he overworked himself and when he had to tell him to stop working and go to sleep even if a few late night trains were due. But he didn't stop working until he knew every train was ready to be taken and he only slept maybe at most two hours and he soon started to develop harsh pain from overworking himself but his fear kept him suppressing the pain and hidden from the workman so he could keep working. Sir Topham Hatt visited the yards the next day to see how the repairs and how the shunting was going, but instead saw Dennis scared and stressed as he winced in pain while moving a train of empty trucks and some empty tankers. But as Edward brought another train in, Dennis went and coupled up and collected the train and as he started pulling everyone heard and saw his engine ramping up, coughing, spluttering and spewing thick black smoke and fire was following as well. But everyone one there would witness alone with some school kids and other engines passing through the loudest and brightest explosion and fire ball mushroom erupting from the Dennis’s engine bay, which was shortly followed by his most horrific scream of agony as Dennis's engine went up in flames and smoke as his screams were heard. Everyone watched in horror as he yelled: No not like this I'm not ready for scrap and I haven’t been redeemed yet. After a few minutes the local fire crews arrived and tried to put him out but Dennis was burning so hot that his cab and engine bay started melting. But then Dennis saw Sir Topham Hatt looking at him in shame and disappointment he thought it was over. After the fat controller and the fire crew left his driver and some workman walked up to him and he begged them to at least try and help save him from being scrapped by attempting to fix him and get him running. The workman looked at each other and all nodded because they knew how hard he had been working and helped to fix the shunting yards, and he didn't deserve scrapping. They all decided to do it that night once nightfall came, after the formand and the station crew left for home the workman went and grabbed a pump cart and used it to bring in a crane and they started working on getting his destroyed engine out and they spent half the night. They finally got the engine out and had it put in a truck of scrap and then brought in a flatbed with an American diesel semi truck engine as a temporary engine. As they were working on the installation process no one noticed the fat controller came to see the night shift's repair process was going and instead he saw them repairing Dennis. So he went to the men as they were about to start and told them all he supported them fixing Dennis and he would send him to the diesel works but he didn’t have the funds due to the fire damaging the yards and three engines were already being repaired. A few engines secretly watched nearby as the workmen somehow managed to get the engine placed in and hooked up and fixed any faults they ran into. But it wasn't a permanent fix for him and they tested him until dawn broke and his driver showed up and the workman asked him to take it easy on the engine as it’s not made for locomotives and to see how long he can work with it until they found a replacement for him. After three minutes of shunting and refueling, his engine stopped coughing thick black smoke and then came to the fat controller looking mighty shocked and surprised. The fat controller said he was glad to see the workmen were able to fix him and to keep up the good work and once the funds loosened up he would send Dennis in for a full on rebuild restoration as a reward. As the day progressed Dennis did some safety tests before moving some of the trains that came in and went out so he could do his job without any mishaps. That afternoon he had to cover a train to Vicarstown for the engine supposed to take it broke down. He did so without fuss and he passed through stations making a lot of racket and smoking worse than Willie Nelson's tour bus. But after a long journey Dennis reached Vicarstown feeling very hot and bothered and the mainland engine was shocked and impressed after he saw the condition he was in. He congratulated him and said that he did a good job, old boy, and to keep pushing and never give up. Dennis spent the night in the Vicarstown shed with the other engine there and as he backed into his engine birth he coughed a little and idled down to let his engine breath before shutting off his engine, and the other engines looked in shock as they saw him burnt and cut up as he had no hood over his engine, and watching his driver humming a tune to help him sleep. But none of them dared to judge or criticize him for they knew about the engine explosion he had so they let him sleep and when he woke up he did some early morning shunting and then went back that very same morning he helped James bring a passenger train to the next station because the his safety valve had burst, once he pulled in to the station he shunted James into a siding for the relief engine. He went home and to his surprise saw that Rosie and Diesel were back and they were doing the shunting and while Norman was helping the workmen finish the last of the repairs. But Dennis thought that now that they are back the fat controller would change his mind and put him back into the sidings or scrap him.

@@yoitsfrankiebtrainz Dennis decided to sleep outside that night because he wasn't ready to face them just yet, so he went to the sheds towards the back of the station siding remembered a song that his driver played often from america by a man who called himself jelly roll, and the song was called son of a sinner and he didn’t know his voice echoed and carried towards the engine sheds and the three engines heard him and knew he was hurting both physically and mentally, when he finished the son he went to sleep a little more peacefully. The next few days he avoided talking and going near them as much as he could so he wouldn’t have to show them how he looks up close. But they already knew all that he’s been through and how ashamed he was of himself and that night as he fell asleep in the back sheds, Norman and Diesel quietly brought him to their shed and let him sleep there with them. When he woke up early the next morning he saw that he was trapped in the shed. Norman was facing him blocking him in, Norman told him that he needs to rest and to go back to sleep. He did and when the forman arrived he asked Dennis to take some trains of scrap to the smelters yard and then bring a supply train back from the farquhar branch. Dennis took the scrap trains and Arry and Bert mocked him as they saw him, but they weren’t ready for him to say: you know you might just get to soon enough, because I’m not doing so hot myself and since it's getting hard to keep moving on and be of any really usefulness much more using my temporary engine once it finally gives out, andsince rosie norman and diesel returned to the yards, the fat controller might change his mind about fully restoring me and either put me back into the sidings or just send me hear for you’s to scrap. Hehe, I just hope when my time does come you boys will make it slow and painful, if I’m still alive because I deserve it. Dennis was uncoupled from the scrap train and had some trouble starting his engine but soon was able to leave as the two diesels watched him with a sad and worried face. They told their manager what Dennis had said and he innantly permission to go to meet with Sir Topham Hatt to explain everything once their work was done as the day went on they could only worry more and more as Dennis wasn’t in a good place of mind right now. After they finished working they went to Vicarstown and asked to speak with Sir Topham Hatt and their station master went to his office and told him the iron works twins needed to speak to him immediately about Dennis's physical and mental health. When he heard the words mental health he stood up and moved quickly to meet the twins, and once he arrived they explained everything that happened and he got a grave face on him for he finally knew what was going through Dennis's mind, why he was overworking himself and was always scared of not being busy. He decided to go pay Dennis a visit once the work day was done, but Dennis kept pushing himself harder and harder and his engine was beginning to wear out on him and couldn’t keep holding on for much longer from pulling the heavy scrap trains but he was still hiding it the best he could, but everyone knew that he was in extremely bad pain and was trying to avoid not working because he thought he would still get scrapped for his engine was wearing out and there wasn’t any spare parts currently to repair him again. That wasn’t what scared him most, he was on his last chance and he was still trying to prove himself worthy of still being a fat controller’s engine. That evening he was on his way back from taking another last minute goods train to the docks on the Brendam branch line and Edward saw that Dennis had bags under his eyes and tears of pain mixed with fear and sadness running down his face as he engine was rattling and clanking up a ruckus. Edward forced him to turn off his engine and after a few hours the workmen had fixed the rattle but the clank was still there. When he got close to home he saw the yards were on fire and Norman and Rosie were trapped in the sheds on the same line. Dennis revved his engine as hard as he could and rushed in buffering them up together and he redlined his engine to the maximum power output causing it to spew fire as he worked his hardest to clear them away he shouted that nobody dies today but me. After they got clear his engine burst into flame and then his coupling snapped and then his brakes failed and his driver said his goodbye as he rolled down the line at 95 mph and after traveling miles down the line his engines fire went out, but he still rolled down the line eventually ending up on a long-forgotten branch line and didn't stop until he ended up hit a rusty old pair of buffers next to a station that was falling apart. His engine had finally totaled and he began to cry as the pain and the emotions he felt were too much for him as he felt like he was a failure as a brother, engine, and a friend and after three days of hearing the voices in his head caused by PTSD saying you should’ve done better, you're a disgrace as an engine, you failed me. he was in the woods for about six months rusting away and bee’s have made a nest in his engine bay and a family of racoons have made his cab a nest and had a family in it. One night as he looked at the moon he remembered a song his driver played on the radio called please remember me be a man named tim mcgraw. All Dennis could think to do was sing and let his emotions be voiced through the song. Dennis closed his eyes and started to sing. Dennis: When all our tears have reached the sea, a part of you will live in me. Way down deep inside my heart. The days keep coming without fail, new wind is going to find your sail. That's where your journey starts. You’ll find better love as strong as it ever was deep as the river runs warm as the morning sun pleeeeeeeeeaaaaassssssssseeeee reeemeeeeeemmmmbeeerrrrr me. As he sang that night all the animals gathered around him and listened to his song. Another few weeks passed and the bees and racoon family left and he was alone again but winter came and a severe winter storm came and he was encased in snow and ice and while the storm raged on. As the storm continued a lost wolf pup was able to find him and jumped into his cab but she didn’t survive the winter, froze to death and he was alone and he couldn’t even help a simple animal survive the winter. The mother wolf found her baby and looked at Dennis and just sat there as if she understood how he felt. Dennis looked at her a said to her: I’m sorry a saw her cold and alone and after so many have made my a home I thought she would stay until you came for her but it was to cold, but if I could have one wish it would not be for me to be saved but my life traded for hers. The mother wolf looked at him in confusion. Dennis: Because I wasn’t a good engine for the longest of times I was lazy and caused a few accidents because of it. Your pup is innocent and got lost she deserves to have you love and train her as a mother should, and if God can still hear me please spare the wolf pup and the mother from grief the baby was an innocent young soul, I however was a lazy sloth of an engine so if your going to take anyone one this night let it be me not her baby. The moon glowed upon them and a man in white walked out and started a fire in Dennis's cab and held the young wolf pup near and after some time she started breathing again and the pup was taken by her mother back to the den. The man then walked over to Dennis and asked him the man in white: You're afraid of death aren’t you? But yet you were still ready to let go and die to save a young wolf pup that needed help and spare a mother from grief, which begs the question, why? Dennis: Hehe, Because I haven’t been the best of friends, a good brother, or heck even a really useful engine. But my one wish wasn’t ever to be saved but to be the one to save someone else who was in need and if that meant trading my soul for a young wolf pups life then so be it. Lord knows I've made my share of mistakes, I know that I deserve to be the one to die, but not her, why you may ask well, because she’s innocent. I was a cheap, half assed, lazy engine and it caused me and others a lot of pain and some suffering but between the way I look now and how much I made an effort compared to how I first looked and was lazy as can be. And I used my second chance wisely and I would choose to look like a scrap engine made out of spare parts for fun and have to be in constant pain all the time because I've earned it, and I know I've already been replaced, so i’m ready to trade me life for others if it means to can go home safe at night and to their families. I know I will never be able to save them all but I will at least try. Man in white placed a gentle hand on his buffer beam and replied: But yet you saved your brother and friend’s, knowing what would happen to you in the end and you were trying to apologize weren’t you. Dennis, you still seek redemption, but you’ve unknowingly already found it Dennis: alright then but if I have to be a home for these critters as a punishment for the rest of my life because I still failed at my one chance at being useful and maybe even repaired then I accept it.

@@yoitsfrankiebtrainz I will do this until the earth tries to turn me back into soil. Man in white: Hehe, you have forgotten that you have already been forgiven and redeemed in your friends and family's eyes. You just need to have faith, get some rest, and be rediscovered and repaired, so just have faith because this spring you will be saved just by listening out for hikers. The man in white walked away but Dennis asked him what his name was before he left. The man in white replied his name was Jesus, Jesus Christ. And before Dennis could ask anymore questions Jesus said that he must go now it was his birthday and he wanted to spend it with some others who needed him as well. As winter passed and the heat came and thaw’d his buffer beam snapped off and made a loud clunk and bang and some hikers nearby heard him and soon found the town. Dennis saw them and took his chance and called out for help begging and pleading for anyone to come and save him from being abandoned and lost forever. The hikers came running and when they saw him and his broken state and they then saw his burnt and destroyed engine bay they called the railway and they told the fat controller where he was and told them how they found Dennis broken. The fat controller sent the search and rescue crew to the location to save him but when he arrived with them all they saw was a sad, broken, tired, and traumatized engine as they saw the eye bags under his eyes. Sir Topham Hatt walked up to Dennis as he saw he was quietly crying in joy, pain and fear of what he was going to say to him for being reckless and being gone for so long, but what he said was something that would silence the voice in his head forever. Sir Topham Hatt: It's alright Dennis, you're safe now and you've done well. Dennis, Dennis look at me, look at me, see, I'm not mad, I was worried when they told me what happened and we never stopped searching for you til now. And now Dennis, you can go to sleep now, you have truly redeemed yourself and I’m so very proud of you for your hard work and the rescue’s you’ve performed regardless of your pain and you did every job you were asked and more. I saw everything from the security cameras as well and I know about the pain and the voices you've been hearing and Rosie, Norman, Diesel, Arry and Bert know as well and they have been worried sick about you. They want you to come back home to the yards so you can be useful again, so off to the diesel works and once you're all fixed the five of us are going to have a long talk about telling someone when you're in pain and need a break for maintenance. Then fat controller walked away and let the rescue crew do their jobs and once he was loaded on a flatbed he was carefully taken to the diesel works all the diesels saw how bad of a state he was in and they all welcomed him with cheers and love as they knew how hard he worked and after about a year and a half later of being lost in the woods they rolled him into the work and he finally fell asleep and slept peacefully as they started work on him. And after one year and 8 months worth of time working on him they finally had him fully fixed and functional. The fat controller and the other engines came to see him finally came out of the works under his own power and with his new engine from America’s greatest locomotive works and he was welcomed back to the yards once he arrived and they all welcomed him back and after the work day was over Sir Topham Hatt arrived with Micky the rescue engine and they all started the therapy sessions with Dennis helping him overcome his demons and get rid of the PTSD as well. And after many long and very sad sessions they were not only able to help Dennis but also save him from himself. Nowadays Dennis is still working hard but he doesn’t overdo it and lets them know if he’s in pain or he needs maintenance. And if you're wondering he never did see Jesus again but Dennis knew he was still watching him from time to time and he always says a prayer before going to sleep or doing anything risky.

I think this video would have been better if you used voice actors. The computer voice doesn’t sound generic, it just made me lose interest in watching
