I would completely understand if some people wouldn't prefer this over Joni Mitchell's version. I mean, it is Joni Mitchell after all. But to say that it's hideous or horrible, I think, is quite harsh. When he sings "you're my blood, you're my holy wine", for instance, it's almost like he's pleading. My god, it gives me chills every frigging time. I felt there's a lot of honesty and vulnerability in this cover, and those qualities must be acknowledged.

But separate from (although related to) the discussion of beauty/personal preference is, from how I see it, the "lesser arguable" qualities of "honesty" and "vulnerability" that this cover possesses.
