These live performances really make me nostalgic for that time when things were simpler, humans more authentic. Maybe technology, the quest for progress, the will to always go further are taking us away from our essence.

I guess at the end everything was about the Taurus bass synth instead of James Blake.

I know its stupid. But this is how people react to 'emotionally tortured' music in the states. As Letterman gets up, you can see his true feelings for Blake's trio @ 4:03 Blake already senses such derision though & returns a side-smile at him back, before he ridicules the band in that uncomfortable manner. Seldom do we hear sad music exposed today for this very reason. And I'm sad to say that GB seems to be following suit. Fake music, angry people, hypocritical culture.

@@calderarecords "he ridicules the band in that uncomfortable manner" oh come on, you make it sound so humourless. Mr Letterman was very gentleman and the band guys laughed/smiled. And don't tell me what Blake "sensed" unless you're him. Omg. I'm a fan of this song and love JB out btw. Lighten up !

@@calderarecords sorry but you don’t know what you are talking about. I’m a huge letterman fan and JB fan. That is letterman’s type of humor and he loves music. He doesn’t give artists that much attention unless they do a great job. All of the remarks were because he was impressed.

@@kylehayes1458 Exactly. If he doesn’t like the music he won’t say anything beyond ‘thank you’
