James Bond 007 Blood Stone is a third-person shooter video game, It is the 24th game in the James Bond series and is the first game since James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing to have an original story. James Bond 007 Blood Stone features the voices and likenesses of Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, and Joss Stone. Blood Stone is a third-person shooter with elements of hand-to-hand combat. Driving sequences also appear in the game. Blood Stone features a focus aim system which allows players to lock onto targets after melee takedowns. MI6 uncovers a plot by Greco to conduct a attack on the G-20 leaders, while attending a summit at the Acropolis structure in Athens. M (Judi Dench) assigns James Bond (Daniel Craig) to prevent the attack. After Greco flees from his personal yacht, Bond pursues him through Athens, before learning that he rigged an SUV with explosives. Forced to let Greco leave alive, Bond pursues after the SUV in a commandeered Aston Martin DBS V12, disabling it before it can reach the G-20 summit.

Since I've retired I have been playing the old games I missed out on because of work. I am playing this one now and for its time it was far advanced the A.I. is right on when playing on the hard level it is quite the challenge for a man in his 70's. Thanks for the walkthrough. Great job.

Well it does seem a bit bland and lazily put together to be perfectly honest. Maybe it's a different experience playing it but from what I can see there was very little thought put into stage design, gameplay decisions or, well anything really. The car chase around 40:00 is the best example. It's long with not much happening, very slow pace (with very dramatic music which serves to highlight the contrast even more) and the handling looks abysmal. Then when you're done, your immediately throwing into the next quasi-railshooter level #3433 where you go around shooting nameless goons you already forgot what faction they belong to and where the level design doesn't really offer much to look at. I'm not saying you can't enjoy paying a game like this once in a while, but to call it an objectively good game would be a big stretch. Sorry.

Hammas Haukka I can see what you’re saying. But just personally imo it’s underrated when people talk about 3rd person bond games. Sure it lacks certain things we would want and it certainly seems dull in certain parts. It’s definitely not my favorite or my least favorite it’s right in the middle.

Blood Stone sequel (2011) In December 2010, some screenshots and a video were leaked online that depicted a new James Bond game, which shared similar gameplay to its predecessor, Blood Stone. Reportedly, the project had been in development by Raven Software, but was postponed six months prior to the leak, at which point the game was believed to be back in development. However, the game was ultimately cancelled due to Blood Stone's poor sales.
