I used to watch this every morning before school back in 1992.
@michaelweech64322 жыл бұрын
This used to be on ITV, at am, Monday to Friday, from 1992 (its first summer) to 1995 (the last summer it was on ITV). Although, for some reason, ITV elected to edit out scenes, from some episodes (although, whenever they showed ‘Northern Lights’, there’s no way the audio would have gone funny). ITV edited out Scumlord’s first scene, in the episode ‘Danger Train’.

Universal already released the Back To The Future cartoon on DVD, but I believe for the other three, they would need to get the okay from the studios who own the movies (in Double Dragon's case, the game company that owns the series) to release the series.

I know how you feel - I bet you’re aware of these ‘cut versions’ of episodes; my problem there is the episode ‘Danger Train’ - ITV edited out some of Scumlord’s scenes (he’s even one of the villains who Hasbro never made as a figure). Another problem is (another episode Scumlord’s in) - you might, additionally, be aware, of the audio going funny, towards the end of the episode ‘Northern Lights’ (my problem, with that episode, is, in the three villains’ last scene, Scumlord berates them).

Please never let there be a reboot / relaunch / revival / remake of this show, when it’ll never be as good as the original (and everyone knows that the originals are always the best); we merely want to fondly remember this show as we do (from the 90s), when the WWE will never be as good as it was especially from 1990 to the last year of the golden era - 1994 (and it was even called ‘WWF’), and Thomas and Friends isn’t as good, now, as it was way back in the 80s - its debut.

I remember watching this while waiting for Tiny Toons to come on. Being a little kid I saw this cartoon waaay before I saw the real movies, so it was kind of an introduction (for me) to the franchise or the parodies other shows did. Same with the animated versions of Beetlejuice, Back To The Future, Little Shop (of Horrors), Bill and Ted

I e-mailed them but they’ve never responded. I’m after 2 episodes - the uncut version, in English, of ‘Danger Train’, and (the penultimate episode) ‘Northern Lights’, where the audio doesn’t go funny (as Scumlord’s in both episodes). Interestingly, this is the villain who’s in this aptly named pilot episode (and more interesting that he’s in the pilot episode and the penultimate episode, where ‘penultimate’ means ‘before the last’, although he’s technically not in the series finale). I’ve seen bootleg DVDs, of this (even a bootleg DVD of this would do) [as long as all 65 episodes are uncut, and in English, and none of the episodes have funny audio]. Would anyone even consider making a custom (Hasbro) figure of Scumlord? I bet people, who loved this show, when it came out, wish Hasbro made an action figure of him (just when you’ve people who make custom figures of the Hasbro WWF toy line, hence I’m surprised no one has made custom James Bond Jr. toys, especially when there are characters I bet they wish Hasbro did make toys of).

It is non-canon. Several villains show up who died in the movies, for example. And movie-Bond does not have a sibling (at least, not until the movie Spectre...my God, Jr. is the son of BLOFELD! D: )
@Phlebas7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if there is such a thing as "James Bond canon" anymore. For example, James Bond from the Ian Fleming novels was originally written as a veteran of WW2, which clearly isn't the case with any of the Bonds who showed up in movies over the last few decades.
