Nono, I watched several interviews. And when it is a studio interview he is very nice. When it is spontaneous eg. on the red carpet he becomes a very-quickly-annoyed I-am-oh-so-awesome kind of person. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. And I saw some similarities in this interview as well. That's why I put my comment.

It is unfathomable that Sam Mendes would not be re-hired to direct the next Bond film by the producers Broccoli and Wilson, unless they had a dispute over his salary, a percentage of gross revenues or they wanted a commitment for multiple films from him. Skyfall generated in excess of one billion dollars between domestic and international box office receipts. Logically, Spielberg and Tarentino are too independent and expensive; Katherine Bigelow or Christopher Nolan would be good candidates.

I think everyone liked Royale because Bond, for once, had a real & respectful relationship with a woman. He felt like a real character, and a likable one. I just hope they revisit that kind of concept.

I have high hopes for this one. Casino Royale was one of the best Bond movies ever, a really great movie. But I cannot say that much about Quantum of Solace. Hopefully with the stellar cast and crew put together for this one, they can come out with something as good as Casino Royale.

You are so right! I so damn hate it when everybody tells that the actors (I am talking in general now) always seem busy and annoyed and arrogant and so on. Daniel Craig is an excellent actor who does bring a new dimension to the Bond role, however, I agree that he lacks magnetism and as a devoted fan of the Bond films, I do not have the same sense of anticipation in looking forward to a Craig Bond performance as I had when a Connery Bond production or a Brosnan Bond movie was about to premiere.

They all seem awkward and not terribly well briefed. Someone should have asked if the film is being financed by a third or by half via product placements -the producers didn't bring that up! Michael Wilson seemed to suggest that the budget for this film is around the same as the previous film 4 years ago! so there have been cuts!

The game of Skyfall is gonna b made in collaboration between 2 developers Rare and Activision, and Daniel Craig is not gonna b in the game, instead Pierce Brosnan is James Bond in Skyfall, sumthin to do with the Script/screen play was written up for Skyfall bk wen Pierce was still contracted to play Bond, theres was complications with the producers and it got shelved, then they pushed foward with Die Another Day. At that time the devs were signed to make a game of this film.

as much as I think James Bond could still be improved, I think Daniel Craig makes an excellent Bond and they are heading in the right direction. I actually expected the old Bond movies to be really good... but the ones with Pierce Brosnan were so fucking corny I thought I was watching Star Trek. Bond isn't supposed to be funny, and the whole setting should be dark; reflective of the cold war era, with criminal masterminds, hot women, slick guns and exotic locations/vehicles.

I've watched some of his red carpet interviews aswell and when he gets annoyed he has a reason for it, or maybe he's just playing up the whole Bond cockyness thing, you never know. obviously I don't know him personally but he doesn't seem like an asshole. But having to deal with a bunch of people pointing microphones and cameras in your face can get pretty annoying I guess.
