James Bond Tin Toy Car Restoration 1

James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 Gilbert Aoshin, Made in Japan 1965 battery 11" tin car.
I have had this James Bond tin toy car for many years and I have avoided restoring it as it needs gears and I could not find spare parts until now. The wiring is a mess and the gears are badly damaged. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Some of the parts will have to be made as they are not available.

It's a James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 Battery operated 11" tin car. Year 1965 by Gilbert/ Aoshin Made in Japan No control box so I'll have to find one or make one! Still trying to work out the machine gun lights as they strain the gears and motor when they go in and out. Maybe why the gears are split and broke. Maybe a faulty design! I'll be another while working this one out.
