It only becomes more powerful with time, somehow. 51-year-old white guy, grew up listening to metal, jazz, classical, and just didn't bother with this stuff. What a blessing to find this powder keg and source of boundless energy as I slide into my elder years. I recently discovered "Let it Go or Turn it A Loose" and it made my lip curl. I caught myself snarling and throwing my shoulders around in the car, like my feet were doing some kind of double-time shimmy the way he would do it.

I really don't think people understand when they say James Brown was THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN SHOW BIZ.....This brother left it all on stage. Band was tighter than a turtles ass and he was relentless on stage. The ultimate showman. Haven't seen anything like him since!

I don't care whether you seen James get down today or back in the day. It has the same feeling of massive timeless Energy that drowns itself right into your Spirit.... Soul Brother #1, a man truly before his time with Phenomenal Energy and Flare. Sure wish I could've been at one of his shows, just would've been out of this world🔥🚀

"James Brown is BETTER!!!! Michael Jackson is GREATER!!!!!!!! There's a big difference!!!!!! James had the prettier, smoother uncanny stank..... Michael had the unspeakable fire and the bigger effect on man kind!!!!! See my point...... We got to look at facts!!!!!! Michael sold the most, but without James, there would be no Mike!!!!!!!! Imma go with the teacher on this one, Michael is just the student!!!!! He still the greatest of all time, but James did it more advanced than he did!!!!!" ~Big Smoke OG aka Kurrencie the Eternal
