I might have said this before because I've been looking at KZbin videos on and off over the last 2 years, but yours is one of a few sites that are really pleasant to listen to as well as been instructive. You don't say hey you guys and let's face it. We need more women in music. You speak clearly and not too fast. Not too slow. You have a good sound on your axe I like the way you double up by saying something like it's the octave A .on the 7th note of the D string. I played Midnight Hour and I Feel Good quite recently about 58 years ago 🤔 nick covers band and I believe we play them well but it made me realise how I played something that managed to fit the music but was not very close to the original😢😢😢😂😢😢😢

Nice to see someone o. KZbin playing this properly for a change with the semitone lick after the root and not a tone (which everyone else appears to teach!)

Awesome job, I think you actually might be right about it playing the C sharp on the main lick, I always played it with a dominant 7th, but noticed in a video i just uploaded that the sax player was playing a major 7th, and had to get to the bottom of it lol

Amazing job Stuart. Great song, very easy to play. As well as a great exercise to take your bass and quickly have fun!

The two high notes are D and C natural, instead of D and C#. I've just checked it with the Moises app which uses AI to isolated the bass track. I was blown away by the truth.

Yes, you're right, I did the same thing with Moises recently. Oops.

I've been playing this song for 20 years playing the C# then it came on in the car and I heard the C natural..blew my mind.. esp as the sax is playing D-C#.. guess that's the fonk right there..is the technical term a false relation?
