@@englishteacher2641 Yeah, but this is still funny 30-40 years later. Laurel & Hardy are still funny nearly 100 years later. I don't laugh at modern comedians' cos they ain't funny, they're shite, and in 30-40 years time they'll STILL be shite, let alone 100 years from now. As for dismissing music hall just cos it's 1930s? I feel exactly the same about books by Shakespeare, Shelley & Austen: They're outdated texts, we are not living in the 15th or 18th centuries.

@@TheGodsrighthandman I love modern comedy, I just can't see the humour in this. I love the comedy plays of Oscar Wilde, of course they were written in the Victorian era, but they have stood the test of time, and are still funny, some things never change. The same with Shakespeare, if you look at the themes of Shakespeare's plays; they are still relevant today, and will always be relevant; the themes of Justice, ambition, power, retribution and politics etc
