I’ve always said there are a few things you can discern from social media alone; if nothing else, they should definitely have a photo of them graduating from 12th grade! I say this with peace and love: the difference between 19 and 20 is smaller than the difference between 20 and 25. In numbers and in life experience. I think it's important to understand that dating someone older puts you in the position of the younger person you say you'd never date. When you're young, each year is so meaningful in terms of maturing/growth/life experience and that doesn't slow down/stop until you're closer to 30.

Does cancelling even WORK? Because it doesn't seem like it does. Jeffree, Shane, James, etc have all done terrible things, some of which was outright illegal, but they never had so much as a police report filed against them, let alone been sent to jail. As someone who’s almost 25 I couldn’t imagine dating someone more than a year younger than me let alone an 18 year old barely legal adult who is still a child. I certainly wouldn’t date my 18 year old self because I was an immature child just out of high school 🤢 Amazing video Adam!! It's not weird to feel there is a bigger gap between 18 and 20 as opposed to 20 and 22. You grow up and develop a lot during these times. You gain a bunch of perspective-changing experiences as well. I'm 25 now, and the youngest I would date rn is maayyybe 22, but I have nothing in common anymore with people in the 18-21 age range.
