Thanks James and Per for a very thorough discussion on spot and contracting price but hard to get Per to nail down a price. The comment on 'no ceilings' says it all...uranium prices are going much higher.

Great interview..just one question when Per says “they won’t chase it they’ll just wait for it to come down” in reference to the U price…what happens when buyers need product and the ask becomes $5-10 over what the buyer was looking to pay? I’m assuming that’s when a squeeze happens?

A utility would say they are sitting on 2-3 years worth of inventory so they can afford to be patient with the expectation of prices pulling back. If prices do accelerate the price of uranium is so small it still doesn't matter to them. To learn more about the cost of uranium to a utility check out our last interview with Justin Huhn. Taken overall, the uranium price is more likely to go up in 2024 than to go down. Actual dollar figures, however, are uncertain.

It's strange that this guy believes in such a muted uranium run. He is a turn-off, and it's not because he knows what he is talking about. He continually gets his price action wrong. He knows all the news but is terrible at estimating the price move. I wouldn't want him as a CEO of a company I'm invested in. He'd sell a dime for a nickle.

I will believe uranium when ALL u stocks are higher than 2021. Up to now i just see worse returns than 700 days ago. I am 100% loaded in uranium because i knew sput should be much higher but i expected more of equities at this point. Much more, look at URA etf since 2007 huge dissapointment.

@@BloorStreetCapital 100% allocated. 200k in uranium. How much do you think would in have in 2 years? All my stock saved money is there 0 ( already 130k of earnings) so I started with 80k. Encore energy Global atomic Peninsula energy Fission Lotus Paladin Nexgen Mega Uec Uuuu Denison mines Elevate uranium Bannerman Anfield Goviex Urg Sput Aura energy Forsys Cauldron energy Latitude uranium 92 energy Gti resources Laramide Sky harbour Canalaska Atomic minerals Gladiator Forum energy And other small shitcos with small positions. I have around 20% in encore 10% in global 10% in peninsula 8% fission 7% lotus 7% paladin 7% nexgen... My first positions... But I have like an ETF in uranium.

Just wait for the election talks. The big boys are positioning. That's the reason you're not seeing the equities move. The algos have different buying and selling tactics depending on what the big boys want to happen. Right now they want to buy cheap. Wait till the news and the politicians start talking about Nuclear and how we are going to triple the amount. That's when they'll switch the algos to drive the market up
