James Corden Doesn't Want to Jazz Up the Show

James Corden is excited to tackle his favorite comedy bit, Celebrity Noses, but an attempt by show producers and the band to jazz it up backfires when James isn't feeling the vibe. And James has a hard time keeping it together when talking about his love for a full jazz plate.

James Corden just broke in a way where, in his head, he fully appreciates the fact that Reggie Watts could easily carry the entire show without him and he'd do a fantastic job of it. But we still gotta finish this bit. Edit: I've just watched this video for the fourth time, and I just absolutely love it. I love it so much. If late-night comedy gets to return to things like this, the next four years are going to be so healing for me, even if it's the case that the dems fail to accomplish anything because the Republicans are sincerely brilliant at obstruction. It still means four years of not being afraid of discovering the next new aggravation every single time I check the news. And instead of doing the best possible to communicate that the nation's leader is unfit for office, if we can switch to stupid simple wonderful comedy like this, I'll be so happy.

I just liked the absurdity in the incongruity of pairing the word 'splash', largely associated with a physical action for physical objects, with a non-physical, non-quantifiable idea like 'jazz'. It fit in with the frequently absurdist/droll nature of Corden's sense of humor.
