I mean Europeans think about it more because it's a bunch of tiny countries bordering each other, so they think about those + the USA. But they're so ignorant about anything else beyond that. Yeah, that's soooo annoying! Ok, so I used to be healthy, and over the last 10 years have become sicker and sicker with this degenerative condition and now I'm homebound and mostly bedbound. And there's.... really nothing good about it. But the ONE silver lining I can think of this: I can guilt my friends into not canceling on me. ;'D When I make plans, I have to rest up for 2 days beforehand, and take certain extra meds at times, and make sure I'm not doing anything tiring like taking a shower or doing something big ahead of time. Then I block out 2 days afterwards to rest up FROM having a friend over. So whenever I make a new friend and invite them over, I tell them this. Then when they either cancel or text me to see if I still want to hang out (which I never see, because I just got out to the couch in the living room to wait for them), I tell them again about how much work it is to prepare for them coming over. It usually only happens twice with new friends before they catch on and stop canceling on me. :) Again, not a lot of up-sides to this disease, but I will say that my friends have never been more reliable when we make plans! ;'D Which is great. Because I've always been a planner, but never had a reason to make people follow through until I got sick. Sorry, that was really long! I just meant I know what you're talking about! :)

My god brother is like Jame’s son with accents. He moved from Britain to Michigan when he was like 14 and started using an American accent at school and then decided he was going to use his British accent instead all the time and now he’s in off broadway productions and gets more jobs because he has a brilliant British accent and a brilliant Michigan accent. So it’s weird for me to hear him switch between so easily, when he was visiting us (in England) with his parents he spoke with a British accent and then his girlfriend phoned him and he switched to American.
