I live on my own,by choice,i listen to lots of music as it really helps me.james are a very spiritually uplifting sound for me.i am 48 and have only seen them the once,with my brother in his whell chair,he ha MS.it was a good couple of days out at my expense,needless to say.my brother is really tight when it comes to money.the disease has brought the very worst out of him.i love him dearly but I cannot be around him anymore as he destroys me mentally and I do that to myself more than enough.he is a trigger,i have no choice but to stay away from him.i cannot begin as to exactly what he is going through,but he has got no idea as to exactly what I am going through.we clash really badly so I do not go and visit him anymore,for my own sanity.happy days ehh !!

So perfectly stated. They've managed to keep from falling into either pit those two groups currently reside in (a couple of their earlier songs remind me strongly of U2, but there's some element in those songs that still sets James apart, for the better). I was a HUGE fan of U2 in my childhood/teen years. I saw them live in 2003ish just because I finally could. Tickets were expensive as hell, and DAMN... it was so bad. I don't know what I was expecting, I hadn't liked anything they'd put out in the preceding few years. I wouldn't hesitate if I could see James live now. I know it'd be a great experience.
