Degale clearly won, the person who didnt know a lot about boxing thought bute won or a least a draw, argued against a loss cause and decided to delete his post eventually :) Degale is very slick and showed tremendous class by making a first defence of his title in bute's backyard.

I remember watching this fight on Sky. The US commentators give Degale much more credit than whoever it was on Sky. DeGale never really got a lot of praise from UK commentators. This was a good performance in Bute's home city and a very good fight.

And while Bute never really appears to be out of the fight at all, James won fair and square, by some rounds my in my knownothing opinion. I had it 4 to 2 after 6 but different rounds than Farhood. Minute to minute it was competitive but smart choices where to work made this 4 to 8 rounds for DeGale.

This comment section isn't going to tell the story on the fight as most who are making comments are Bute fans. They're the ones who will come back and watch it and comment the most. Also, the reason to why Bute performed better than he had in the past against Degale and the fight before that with Di Luisa was down to the juice he was caught with. Before the Di Luisa fight he was shot. He'd been mentally damaged by Froch. But all of a sudden he's performing closer to his best. I did think it was suspicious. Well, now we know what it was.
