+Frank Beaulieu If you look carefully, each disk seems to have different biomes in it so I THINK what we're seeing here is an artificial "planet" on a ginormous space station. The disks also seem to rotate at different intervals and speeds to mimic the day/night cycle, by blocking the sunlight from the one underneath it. I don't even want to imagine the kind of technology necessary to sustain the structure and the habitable surfaces... (if was even possible in RL). Either way its a really awesome and unique idea, props the to the artist!
