I like these noise albums where there's sort of a shimmering quality as opposed to the ones that sound like I'm trying to conjure the ghost of a dead Nazi from a broken air-conditioner.

@@Mcgoats I think that's a large part why James' earlier albums appeal to me so much. They're not strictly Noise Music per se, but they're definitely informed hugely by the sort of techniques and structure of Noise albums, no doubt something he carried with him from his time in The Skaters. So I engage with them in a similar way. Definitely great for when I want something that has the form, but not necessarily the sound of Noise.

thank g-d James Ferraro never started lecturing people about how the world works, but yes Boyd Rice is a genius all the same.
