OK I finally watched this. As an award host, Anne was absolutely 100% perfect in every way, Her style fits the celebratory atmosphere. Hm. So she is rather perky, but I don't think this should have garnered her hate. Hosts of award shows are always scripted to be corny. It looked extra on her, but that's how hosts always behave. I think her being placed beside him and them having different styles in personality and humor just exacerbated exactly how perky she looks. +Bellaizzle It wasn't good, but its nowhere near as bad as people made it out to me. It was a sucky monologue because they aren't comedians. I'm not a fan of either of them, but Hathaway gave it an honest to God's try and Franco, while being a little distracted, basically acted the same way he always does. They weren't given good material or good ideas by the writers and they aren't good at telling "jokes", they are good at "acting" which is completely different. Hence the reason many comedians can become actors but many actors can't be comedians.
