Penn State didn't complete ANY passes to wide recievers all game! None. Notre Dame had given up big pass plays to receivers in previous games. Why didn't Penn State try to get the ball down the field to the receivers?? What was Franklin's game plan?

Its not okay to throw the ball across your face on your back foot with two defenders in the area. Yes coaching matters but a high schooler would’ve been smarter than that.

This was the only chance in my lifetime for PSU to contend for a National Championship since 1986. It was a wasted opportunity with questionable play calling. Not one deep throw was attempted. We left 4 points on the ground with a dropped TD pass. This team will be depleted with NFL draft picks. It destroyed any chance of attracting wide receivers and without keeping up with NIL spending, PSU will never contend again...hard reality!

Allen was running the ball, the entire game, and on the last plays he’s on the sideline. Carter runs quarterback and running back all the time that’s a bad team and they’re bad because of their coach

@@blackboy539040 Allar didn't lose the game. Cam Miller fell down in coverage to give up a 54 yard TD right after PSU scored the leading TD. That's one of MANY examples of how PSU lost because ND is the better team. BTW, since we want to go there, the INT happened because a free blitzer came through and it hit Drew Allar when he threw it so he wouldn't get sacked. For a young man, he's not going to throw any of his teammates under a bus but this is one of MANY examples of how ND is the better team. I'm proud of how hard they fought when ND took control in the 3rd quarter and took the lead giving themselves a chance to win if they excuted enough to win. They didn't do it. I'm okay enough to admit that.

He’s not a bad player and i was rooting for them but he has no clutch gene. He’s what I call a front loader. He balls on bad teams but when he plays a good one, Oregon, Ohio state, ND, he chokes. He also can’t see the field very well and can’t throw to save his life. I think they should go get Ewers. Allar a B- quarterback.

@@blackboy539040 I'm a fan of PSU who has watched a lot of PSU games, the good, bad and the ugly. Like I said, PSU was up 24-17 when Cam Miller fell down in coverage and gave up the game tying TD. It was a team loss like it usually is when a team loses a close like PSU did. Allar didn't "lose" the game. They were outplayed by a better team and lost to them. BTW, I'm not blaming Cam Miller either. I'm naming this as an example of the numerous reasons why PSU lost.

@@curtis1415 I played college football and understand where you’re coming from. There are multitude of plays that determine an outcome of a game. You win and lose as a team. Blah, blah. I almost became an offensive coordinator. You could also blame it on play calling for putting him in that situation. But to keep it simple he threw a game ending pic. If I was his coach I would tell him as the QB it’s your responsibility to control the controllables. He threw a game ending pic. You get the woman and the money but it’s also your fault when we loose. He floats the ball too much and doesn’t have an understanding of situational football. If I coached him he wouldn’t have done that. But I watched them this season. ND was not better than them. They could’ve blown them out. ND was better coached and their QB made plays when it mattered.

I usually don't watch or care about college football only because 98% of the players won't play on Sunday's after they leave college. But what I saw was a very inspired Penn State team. The Quarterback made a mistake and and it cost them the game. After the game. On the stand the lady host and the announcers on TV were full of praises for ND ability to come back to win. What a crock of S--T ! They were out played by a inspired team that made one mistake to many and lost. ND isn't that good , they will have to play inspired football if they intend to beat their next opponent.

Ok well yall know the rest of the story.. and here we are again. Penn State should have and could have won this game in OT but we never got there and imo it was because of a coaching decision. You are deep in your own territory against a tough D with 40 seconds to go 80 yards with the game tied. You regroup and go OT. These seemingly small decisions are often times the difference between giving your team a chance or none. Here this great PSU team got no chance. Sure Allar f'ed up the last 40s but Franklin gave him that chance to.
