Why is it whenever Notre Dame wins, its never how their secondary is elite its how the opposing QB played bad, when Greathouse jukes defenders out of their shoes, its not about how good he is, its that Penn state fell down. Its never ND winning, its always the other team losing. @dreddmann6532 very good point. I'm a former athlete of nearly 17 years. Hockey, subjectively, the next sport in the world. When I lose a close game, it's simple... the other team made more plays to win the game. Not "Oh if we would of just done this better or done this different we would have won". If the team I'm on cannot make enough plays to create enough separation in points to where it comes down to the last play then we already lost. It's easy to blame yourself. I've done it and I still do it but ultimately it take is the other team that made the better play(s). For example, that game ending INT... that was NOT an easy interception. Most DBs would have not caught that throw. Therfore, clock stops and it's on to the next down. ND gets no credit for making an incredibly difficult INT at the most crucial part of the game. That really should have been an incomplete but we had enough talent to make the better play.

@@dreddmann6532 you realize that could have very easily been an incomplete. PSU fans act like the ball was literally just placed in the hands of Christian Grey. That was an incredibly difficult catch, not just physically but mentally. But... no credit to ND. Just excuses for PSU. ND made better plays. Point blank.

The running back check down was open. He didn't even look that way.

This was a great game with no blame on anyone including the refs for the Penn State loss. Both teams played great defence and put it out on the field.

The young men in this game played with heart. Finebaum has no idea what it is like to compete like this. Hate his attitude.

Well said to someone who hasn't won anything and would likely not play to win but play not to lose.
