I will miss Henry Cavill's Superman. This role suited him very well, in my opinion. I'll also miss the SnyderVerse (DCEU) a lot. It was a good DC franchise. However, I'm very excited for James Gunn's DCU and for David Corenswet to play Superman when it premieres on July 11th, 2025, in theaters. Here's a reminder: David Corenswet will do an amazing job playing the DCU version of Superman. In summary, Superman (2025), along with F1 featuring Brad Pitt, 28 Years Later, The Fantastic Four: The First Steps, and The Running Man (2025, starring Glen Powell), will perform better at the box office than Captain America: Brave New World and Snow White (2025, starring Rachel Zegler), as both films are expected to be box office disappointments. I hate Gunns approach. Loved Snyders! Snyder should have carried on, I think studios are too fickle when they pull the plug too early. Sometimes movies need to marinate and people learn to appreciate with time. Imo Snyders take on Justice League was very good and he should have carried on. Do not like Gunns take at all, sorry.
