At the end of day the critique against James Gunn we've all made us simply due to the fact that we just want the best for our DC characters. I'm a DC and X-Men fan and it's embarrassing that Warner has never even tried just a little for these Characters. It's a shame to see DC going back to step 1 for what? Nobody asked for this change. But just like critiqued Zacks DC vision in some things I will also point out the obvious fails in James Gunn DCu. Nolan's Batman didn't quit because Harvey became Two-Face. He went into hiding because he killed Two-Face saving Jim Gordon's son. While Batman took responsibility for it, Gordon tried to tell him it wasn't his fault. But Batman being Batman, blamed himself anyway and felt he didn't deserve to be the hero anymore. If you've ever seen the animated Justice League shows, one of them has an episode showing Batman doing just that, under Deadman's control. Only he used a gun. Batman isn't as stoic as you might think he is. Not all the time. He shows pain and emotion just like we do.

People act like Gunn is directing every movie. People loved his GOTG but since he went to DC people want to hate. It doesn't make any sense. I'm a movie lover not just a comic book movie lover and I'v noticed in the last 2 or 3 years that CB film fans are more toxic than words can describe. The DCEU could have been really good.....if ZS made better decisions and if the older leads at WB made better decisions. Reality is the DCEU was a mess and had some real issues. I'm not saying the new DCU will be great but DC needed to hit the reset button desperately. So called DC fans need to stop crying and give this new universe a chance. Especially considering we haven't seen a single movie yet. So far damn near all the casting is awesome. Of course all casting won't be perfect but it's really good so far.

@@EzekielSosa-p2z GOTG was off the backs of the other MCU movies and Kevin's vision. Them movies would of not been connected to anything? Them would of been garbage a## movies! Synder is the only one that had solid numbers when he was there. Since he's been gone? It's been nothing but flops. You can diss Synder all day! But so far since Gunn has been at WB, he's put out no blockbusters and his whole movie online is getting destroyed or nobody is even interested in it. So I can say the Synderverse is gone. But I bet you won't admit, without Disney and Kevin's vision. Gunn has nothing but flops in his background.
