Love seeing Harden doing turnaround 2pt stepbacks, middies, hitting threes, moving the ball and getting switches. People were mad that he hit up Vegas. In reality, he needed that to get out of his head and approach this series with a clear mind. He's simply built that way. A lot of people are.

His 2015-16 season that was his specialty all that season. That was literally the only season I could remember him abusing shots inside the 3line. After that season when dantoni came in it was all about the 3 or take it to the rack and get fouled.

@@slangshotz2022 Daryl Morey was a large part of that offensive retooling for Harden in Houston. Everything was built on hard stats back then. As 76ers GM, I think Morey now understands that there are certain intangibles that are lost when you force the 3 as opposed to having the midrange option. It becomes predictable to defenses and your players get disoriented and brick when they can't attempt good 2pters. Joel and KD are good examples. Having the long two keeps your offense more fluid and harder to play against. Step back 2pters are severely underrated.
