RIP James Harman -- with thanks for countless hours of good music and good humor.

Joel Foy was probably my favorite of James' great guitarist. He is very unassuming here, but he has more licks and knows how to string em together than anyone I know. If you've ever listened to the "Do Not Disturb" album you'll know what I'm talkin bout. RIP James...

Was Joel as guitar on James later on 1991 Peer Festival or was he Rick Holtrom instead ??

He smokes on Sparks Flying Live. That made him one of my favorite players.

I’ve seen a lot of that they start off playing straight blues and it’s good stuff then when they get attention all of a sudden their sound changes and then I’m not into it

Love the song, but dang if every single legit blues band doesn’t ditch 99% of their material when they get on tv.

Very ZZ Top-esque.

trying to figure out where that was filmed.. was it Blind Melon's in PB/? I saw James at the Belly Urp just about 1987 and he was sporting the jacket and tie then also

I think it's Elarios in La Jolla...I'll look at again...was at Blind Melons a hundred times and played there, too.

James Harman: voc/harp; Joel Foy: guit; Jeff Turmes: bass; who's on drums, though?
