I like the way they put music. It doesn't cover the reader's voice like a few maker,s of audiobooks do. The music is just in the right place. I appreciate this, as I have a bit of deafness. This reader has such a nice voice. He makes the stories come to life. Mr Herriot must have been a man of humour. I love all his books and am contemplating buying the written version to read and reread his funniest anecdotes.

Pity about missing the ending. Like doing a beautiful jigsaw only to find the last piece missing. Such a shame. Otherwise excellent.

There's a new All Creatures on BBC and I hope every fan watches and supports this series. It is a fantastic new production of All Creatures and each actor and actress is perfect for the role they portrait. Good news for all fans of this series.

Strays from the book big time … The original is better imo

Still a heartwarming series. Much needed in these turbulent times. I am grateful for them.

2:35:00 I know a lot off book lovers. They are usually kind, quite introverts. But I have noticed nothing makes them more angry than a fictional character not being portrayed accurately on the big screen and cutting of an audiobook ending.😁 Thank you for posting this series anyway. I loved it despite the missing last paragraph.

Geeez. Gimme a break. Wrong on both counts. Every kind of person enjoys reading, stories. When u can't say anything nice...keep the rest to yourself.

That was inexcusable to cut the last words of the book for an advertisement for audio books. No one that has listened that far needs to be reminded that this was wonderful or that they need to suscribe..they are already hooked..if I had a way to get out of this bed and drive to a library or book store to read the final line I would..this upsets me beyond belief..

Don't cry marjorie. It's something you got for free. If you don't like it then stop being a cheapskate and go buy the audiobook. You can use your government welfare check that you get every month.😂😂😂

Geeze. A simple "thank you" is vastly more appropriate. Surely you dont imagine anyone wants to read low criticism , unwarrented for something you took advantage of for free. Remember the Golden Rule.

Warning Spoiler Alert: The Missing Paragraphs at the End of the Narrative: ....The shops were still closed and nothing stirred in the marketplace. As we left I turned and looked back at the cobbled square with the old clock tower and the row of irregular roofs with the green fells quiet and peaceful behind, and it seemed that I was losing something forever. I wish I had known then that it was not the end of everything. I wish I had known that it was only the beginning...

Does anyone else really dislike Miss Dooley and the way she speaks to James? So patronising, condescending and to top it all off she makes such a big deal of him getting her name wrong. I'd have lost the rag especially when she decides she knows everything despite James's clear explanation of the situation, years of experience and study in his field.
