James Hetfield 1982 is hard to comprehend, it sounds so different

Same, I thought it was Dave too but I guess it’s actually James, you can definitely tell he got the vocal influence from diamond head@@erdemuykan9219

He was trying to sound I think like the lead singer from diamond head at the time, but then again he was like 18 when they made that demo pretty much still a kid. I’m 20 and I can sing pretty well but trying to hit those high notes James made I can’t my voice is permanently deeper than his was in 82’ it’s weird tho imo how it’s like James finally started hitting puberty around 24/25 from his look to his voice to his attitude.

I thought so, I prefer his master of puppets era vocals of all the albums, it’s definitely cus you can hear his younger voice and more mature voice at the same time@@goldenwolf8081

An updated Guitar Hero Metallica concept. I love it. I would love to see someone make modern versions of their video game characters and play through a charted song with 2024 metallica in the background

If he hadn't been needlessly screaming stuff like, Are we nuts tonight? every night for years his voice may have lasted quite a bit longer. He almost sounds like a different person now. Maybe even since the mid to late 90s. It's a shame because his voice 84-92 was absolutely fantastic, growly but able to carry melodies and pretty powerful with it.
@CoolManOfficial69Ай бұрын
well, that crowd participation was what made him a great frontman
@ozricnessАй бұрын
@@CoolManOfficial69 I reckon his skill and alcohol intake played a large part. Don't you think the music and the band's stage presence would have done the trick with less screaming?

It’s funny how we don’t mind his voice from the first 3 albums but James himself hates it. I guess it’s to do with the fact that his voice wasn’t as properly trained as what we hear in AJFA (even though he got proper training in the Black Album)

@@CoolManOfficial69 I've seen the one where he says he doesn't like his KEA voice and, frankly, it isn't my favourite either. Some of Ride is also a bit flat. But the Master voice is absolutely iconic, I reckon this and Justice are his most revered non-Black album vocal performances. You seem not to be too fond of his 80s vocals, that's why I asked. Did you mean the music is a lot better than the vocals?
