0:08 Amazing overture with a mellow tone, i wished it was longer 0:37 Very well balanced and your chord resolves nicely, nice staccato too, such an earworm! 1:13 is my favourite part where everything comes together! And I can clearly hear the motif of the electric guitar, it acts as a rhythm cue/percussion(?) And it is nice this way because it is not too messy compared to adding layers of percussions; simple yet impactful, excellent work! 1:26 WOAH LOVE THE IMPLIED SUSPENDED CHORDS! This bar is a great opportunity here if you wish to extend this piece by introducing a new melody/section in the future. Overall this piece has shown great power and your skill as a composer to build upon one melody and motif. I look forward to more of these!

@azure_sapphire Thank you very much!! 😀The first bit was fun, but I didn't want to overdo it, I suppose I could have had a B phrase, to play with later. The staccato was fun to write, but the dynamics were a bit more difficult to settle on, to loud, and it takes away from the other instruments, too quiet, and it looses it's purpose entirely. I put everything together played legato from 1:13, but still had the staccato there too. 1:13 had a lot more lower brass added, to give it a rich, warm, full, foundational sound, to let the rest play on top of. Having counterpoint usually only works well when there is the solid chord stuff beneath it, so we don't get caught up trying to distinguish one part from another. The suspended chords were to change up the piece, otherwise it would have been the same thing too many times in a row, but I like the sound of them, so I try to use them whenever I can. I could definitely use this to add more like you say! 😆 The guitar certainly was for rhythm, acting together with the percussion: it was the beginning of 'Eye of the Beholder' by Metallica, whose music I find really clever, and every now and then really beautiful (the Intro to Blackened, reversed and not reversed). The guitar riff from 'Eye of the Beholder' is a great example of how rhythm can enhance music. I credited it in the description, I think that's how you credit stuff?
