Rush was an ok movie. It's tough to surrender to the 'magic' of novies that tell stories about people or events you're familiar with. So, as a fan of F1 since the time Niki won his third drivers' championship, a movie like Rush will meet a critical eye. Daniel Brühl's performance was fantastic, and Ron Howard's movies are virtually guaranteed to entertain. But I hated Chris Hemsworth's performance as James. The accent was suburban community theatre in Brisbane. And he has the charisma of a tree...in the store room of a community theatre in Brisbane.

Mnarco! n also "Beechum" Place for "Beauchamp" Place. And "Maudlin for "Magdalene" (college only, otherwise it's Magdalene). It's typical english language manner of speaking within various habitual pronunciation rules, and there are social tics in language, which can be deliberate, or inculcated, or perhaps chosen to "fit in" at a certain time. There are similar verbal tics in most European languages. I did giggle at "Mnarco" tho', as James Hunt was so dashing and James Bond-ish, what with his cut out shoes to fit the racing car restrictions. James Hunt always a Gentleman with a sense of humour.

I don’t remember when the “tube” for the drink arrived, probably in the same years and it was something like a normal drinking straw and the pilots had to keeping it locked up with their tongue because otherwise the water jumped out when them were braking. @@cb7365 Hamilton has the personality of Ryvita. If you've ever watched the drivers briefings, everyone else is talking and listening but Lewis has his headphones in ignoring everyone - like it is literally his job to be in those briefings and pay attention. I'm sorry he's not humble either - when he lost to rosberg in 2016 in an interview he was just like "Well, I still won the most races out of anyone this season" - pretty sore loser if you ask me - and there's so many other examples of where hes acting like the worlds turned against him like accusing Ferrari of abusing team orders last year which is frankly laughable etc. Also press conferences - i'm sorry - if it wasn't for Ricciardo and Vettel trying to spark conversation or crack a joke those would be a snoozefest. Not to take anything away from him as a driver - I think hes arguably one of the best of all time... and I also really appreciate how he acted with Harry Shaw which is a truly heartwarming gesture ..

He's not coming out with some smoke and mirrors, new age self help shite, he's just saying it like it is. Giving people much more actionable advice, which in turn makes them more relatable and inspires people to try to follow in their footsteps. Very down to earth playboy. @@pr-tj5by But he couldn't tell you how to get into F1, because the drivers nowadays have been put into the position by their parents. They all bought their kids carts at a very, very young age and then they drove them to carting events and got them into championships and were there to negotiate deals for their driver's youth academies and so forth. None of them decided they wanted to do racing when they were grown up and actually worked themselves to be able to afford a car. It's always the parents that got them there. That's why some of them are useless as people. They have only known racing all their lives but had no time to actually develop any real character or abilities besides driving cars around a track. Same with the footballers in the youth academies. Lot's of talents don't make it, and a lot of them saw their life break apart when their dream didn't work out and they lost any direction. It's a good way to become poor.
