For the record, Jurys DO take field trips to the scene in certain cases, the most recent notable example is in the Alex Murdaugh case. But its also happened in cases of School Shootings. So it is in fact, a real thing that happens in the American justice system

I love James Marsden I would have been devastated to meet the heightened version and believe that was him haha Ronald what a legend. Felt bit bad for him coz he really thought he made real bonds with these "people" Ron is amazing! I for one as a female loves him!

Great interview. You guys asked all the questions I had in my head. Marsden comes off like a really good guy. I never was a fan of him, or really just wasn't aware of him, but I'm a fan of his now. Jury Duty is a phenomenal show.

I was on a jury in a murder trial in Texas… and I can say Jury Duty broke every rule about being on a jury. LOL😂 But it was such fun to watch!! (Example: it is NOT the forepersons job to control the jury.. in fact that job is not even chosen till after closing arguments & both sides “rest”)

During the whole show, I missed the fact that Ronald was not an actor like the rest. I thought it was just a mockumentry. I was surprised on the last ep, just like him.

Can someone clear this up for me? The only thing I didn’t understand was after the birthday party in episode 6, Marsden says in the group interview that he is sorry he never made it to the party. Everyone including Ronald is listening to him say this. But after the reveal in episode 8 they do show a clip of him coming back to the party with another cake for Ross and seemingly makes amends with everyone. This confused me.

I had to look that up but the jury sometimes actually does go to the scene of the case. Apparently, the OJ Simpson case was one of the times they did that, and they actually took the jury to the OJ Simpson crime scene. I thought that was interesting.
