Greatest actor of his generation I also love how he really acts because he loves acting and not because he wants to win an Oscar, he has never been nominated because he doesn't want to go through the exhausting process of Oscar campaigning, he doesn't care for it, it's rare for an actor these days to be truly dedicated to their craft and not seeking awards.

@@UncleDeadly1031 Nope. Just another fan that thinks they know a celebrity personally.
@mollywinda8537 Жыл бұрын
@@Belx2 honestly what he is doing now is a little bit of an Oscar campaign, but not as much as other celebrities. It’s basically when actors go on a media tour promoting their movie, but they talk very much about the depth of their performances and their craft, so as to grab the attention of academy voters. There is also a lot of private screenings and events for industry people, etc, to give the impression to exclusivity and superiority. Here is a quote from Google I found that sums it up pretty well: “To win a coveted statue, studios often rely heavily on campaigning, with the purpose being to get your movie seen by as many people as possible through ads, lobbying, parties, screeners and sometimes even, some say, dredging up the competition’s past. These campaigns create a narrative, which is designed to get the right eyes on the film in question. For example, as the actors and director of "La La Land" have made rounds on talk shows and news programs, they've shared personal stories of struggling in Hollywood, highlighting themes of the movie itself. If you can’t get members excited enough to see the movie in theaters, your chances of winning may not be as strong.”

James McAvoy will ALWAYS be the Mr. Tumnus in my head. no one else will EVER replace his version from me, even if i hear the voice of Philip Sherlock from the focus on the family Radio Theater versions, I'll always think of James's version. same goes for everyone else in the first Narnia Movie (especially William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keyes and Georgie Henley They will always be the Pevensie Siblings to me) except i like to mix Tilda Swinton's version with how her character was described in the book.

James McAvoy is the kind of man that exudes experience and knowledge of his own fallacy and feeling of hope and goodnes existing. He's one of the rare men on this planet who could probably hug me without me feeling fear. Him, Tom Hiddlestone and Tom Hanks.... It would be nice for one of them to tell me everything will be ok....

Filth is underrated. I didn't quite see that character as a young small guy, but McAvoy threw himself into it.

Love James as an actor and what I've seen of him being a real person.
