Wendy J. Cat often people with DID will draw from unconscious memories/ associations to from personality traits or even names of alters. It’s possible M Knight used a weird name from Harry Potter a kids book to influence a kids personality.

@@dairyboi7996 We agree with you ^^ One person in our system is called "Looping", she doesn't want to change her name, she thinks it fits her personnality (she is a funny 12 year old girl who wants to be an adventurer. She was born because one of our friend noticed that we were scared to discover new paths. Before Looping was added to our team, we never dared to discover the city by ourselves '-' I guess her purpose in life is to be curious ^^). She's not the only one among us to have a "strange" name, but I think she's the best example ^^. - and she wants to say she loves Hedwig, by the way. We don't know if Shyamalan give the name Hedwig because of HP, but if it's the case, we would be even more fans of Split & Glass ! ^^ (we're a bunch of potterheads in one brain)
