You can take all the great trumpet players - Arturo, Diz, Maynard, Doc, Don Ellis, Phil Driscol, Faddis, Morrison and the list goes on and on and the "who is the best" is a matter of taste (and for my taste it doesn't matter a bit), but the fact is, MORRISON can play....and he can play well enough that even Maynard applauded him (and that's saying somehting right there!).
