You are remarkable. I am an old-frustrated trumpet player. Probably got the wrong instruction when I was younger. But the range and endurance was a problem. To late now. I enjoy your technique.

@@dazail5474 I just have a naturally very slow single tongue I can double pretty well at slow pace but I still have a little gap between my fast single and slowest double also I'd say I sound pretty good how come you ask

I'm told my articulation in context is occasionally harsh and marching band like. What could help my tonguing be more gentle or consistent and in control for classical as well as jazz soloing?

Clarion Trumpet Maybe you could use a different syllable such as du or tu instead of da or ta. Try not to interrupt the air too much.
