For some reason I suspect that even if James Patterson develops alzheimers or whatever and has had no idea who he is for years? there will still be regular releases of his co authored books ....I could be totally wrong idk just a suspicion I have about and ceratain ultra prolific authors that co author lots of stuff ....but seriously after watching this and hearing him? I am guessing I have it wrong in his case. But hey IF I personally were an in demand artist? I would not a little thing like destroying health issues slow down the flow of published co artist prodcuctions etc! For instance I always think like the Beatles were SO stupid for allowing the Beatles to collapse as a "band" With today's tech and all the session muscians they could have kept churning out material endlessly without even being together much at all....if fact they could even keep replacing band members and keep a band going indifinately much like a sports team ....a little harder with an author but maybe not so long as they are still alive at all lol

Can we stop acting like James Patterson is a writing God? He’s a B level author at best. His books are short, overly simple, with 2 page chapters, I finish his books and I feel like I’ve accomplished nothing. I read his stuff, but I don’t worship at his feet. He’s an ok author, not the best. He’s no Stephen King or Tolkien. And I know he’s sold a billion books, and that’s fine, but I don’t think he’s gods gift to literature.

Hello stranger on the internet who is probably going to live an unremarkable life or should I say Z level human at best? Patterson is not a God because if he were, you'd be dead. He writes well and people like him. If you think he's over hyped then why have you finished his "books"? Plus how you feel when reading a book is a subjective experience. He isn't comparing himself to the people you listed so why are you? Dude is obviously a chill guy. He's coming across as someone who is just grateful to be doing something he loves whilst selling out in da millions. I usually try not to ram into people on the Internet but you were just asking for it. You gotta learn how to communicate your feelings in a way that if you were treated likewise in society, there won't be chaos. Nothing about this interview or his actions warranted this level of maliciousness.
