I am incredibly “gypsy” like. I say that with an admiration for that lifestyle. I got that way after a life event. Has it become an American lifestyle? Tocqueville most likely didn’t calculate what the life of a pioneer of the American west was like. They abandoned a homestead when they couldn’t stay alive there. It was life or death that precipitated such a move.
