+Mr. MePhisto's Geek Manifesto thanks for the kind comment. in fact, my students take exams based off of these. indeed, for online classes, on can rewind, repeat, watch a littile and the like. James

Today,18 Sept 2018, I studied this video and this presentation is as well informative, very elaborative but precise and satisfying to any seeker of truth, meaning and purpose of life as of the date you released [Mar 26, 2014] this treasure as are all of your videos. As I study your videos, I keep wondering what your core personal attachment is?Thankyou, Sir.

Great video. It appears that the lecture abruptly cuts off at the end there? Does this continue on another video?

This is an excellent presentation! I'm wondering if you're familiar with, or interested in, Spengler? I find I tend to fuse Early Magian and Buddhist strains, maybe partly because there is this religious tradition of King Solomon's ships trading in India. They seemed to see the world as a dream-ritual, and as a process of awaiting fulfillment. It feels very much like a corroded Old Testament legalism. Apollonianism appears to bear some natural relationship with Confucianism, partly due to their contemporary nature, following on from one another, but also due to the slightly more secular sense of ethics found in Marcus Aurelius. I fuse Faustianism with Eastern Daoist traits. There is the kind of a naturalistic mania in the Western sciences, due to their ultimate aim of correcting human will.

interesting post. yes, i read spengler some time ago and agreed with much. now, i am an opensourcebuddhist who gets what he likes from any religion. buddhism i find, most allows for that and is a great context for understanding all the other religions.
