My favorite Dwayne Johnson movie is The Rundown, followed by Walking Tall. Those were back when he could take a beating in his movies, allowing for a better story overall. G.I. Joe: Retaliation and the Fast movies suck because he’s just a walking tank that can’t be stopped. The scene in which his arm was broken but he flexed out of the cast killed me lol. Dwayne Johnson’s cameos in The New Guys and Reno 911!: Miami are hilarious too. He has great comedic timing and can laugh at himself, but he needs to find the right scripts that have good writing as well, which are clearly kinda rare.

They literally had to make the villain a dude that was juiced-up with nanotechnology and ridiculously overpowered so that it wouldn’t make the character look bad.

Idk The Rock is such an anomaly. Like yea, he more or less plays the same character in every movie but most of the time they're still pretty enjoyable. Cena is an absolutely terrible actor though, but it somehow played perfectly for Peacemaker. Bautista has been really good for a while now, even his earlier stuff where he plays more of a side role he's great on screen.
