cheers nick appreciate that,ive only been playing myself for 18 months,i will try and explain how to play this track but might not be easy to explain in words,so here goes.. the floor tom is played throughout on triplets. there is a bass drum before and immediately after the snare drum pattern. the hi hat sequence is also triplets with 2 bass drum beats per bar. the drum rolls start with the 1st beat on the floor tom. if this helps please let me know dvd196

If I was you I'd loosen off the cymbals but apart from that, a bloody awesome cover! I'm in the middle of learning this with the band and you've given me some ideas! Keep em coming mate!

Appreciate the advice, I always ready to accept to accept blame if things are not right, there isn't a lot of cymbal work on this track so not sure how you mean loosen up, please explain, cheers

hi, yeah thats it,this is only my interpretation of how i think its played,i dont have any drum tabs or music books to play this to,ive basically sat down and listened to the song and tried to figure out whats going on. cheers dvd196

I believe he means your wing nuts are too tight or you have too much felt on the stand resulting in your cymbals not getting much 'ambience' when you're hitting the crash.

Surely anybody can see, you are not actually playing what we are hearing! This is the original track and what you are actually playing is well out of time with the original.
