Wrong, wrong, wrong, and maybe somewhat correct. I installed 50kw worth of solar on my east/west 18-degree sloped roofs in a mountain valley. I average 55mWh/year. Less than a 5 year payback by eliminating $2k/year for heat switching to heat pumps, plus 2 EVs. Solar is so cheap now, put panels anywhere you can!
