George Kennedy and Jimmy Stewart...great friends for more the 30 years. That's wonderful. Jimmy will be my greatest actor for the rest of my life.

I can watch him over and over, and often have. What an amazing actor. My son and I love the movie Rope, its an Alfred Hitchcock, and takes place in one room with just a few actors, but Jimmy Stewart shines in it.

lovely tribute. It's missing clips from It's A Wonderful Life though, the movie that everyone recognizes him for.

one of his greatest scenes, truly amazing is near the end of flight of the phoenix his scathing anger at Hardy Kruger as he is throwing in the cylinders to start the prop the anger runs down your spine then look at how it relapses into aw shucks near the end as they come over the hill with the line was that yards mr dorfman meters mr towne meters he just might have had more range or certainly as much as Cagney but they were out of this world yet so much in it

I think NBC has exclusive rights to IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE or something. But it is a key film and you can't have Jimmy Stewart without Capra's magnum opus and vice versa.

I forgot what a great turnaround he did in "Another Thin Man", turning out to be the killer.

When was this? George spoke as though he were alive at the time of this narration. Was Jimmy still alive then? He passed away in 1997.

I agree with you (but there is one slight disagreement...there are many AS great but none GREATER than It's A Wonderful Life."
