The honest truth is that our lives on earth is limited and almost all of us will die at some point but we need to realize that after death comes judgement to all, To the living and to the dead, Everyone will be judged, So to answer your question, The only way to have everlasting consciousness is by way of doing God's will, which is following Jesus christ and God will give us eternal life but if we don't accept God's way then there's eternal judgement for those who only do their way and reject God's way, And I'm telling you wether hell is a physical place or not, You don't want to go there, You just want to do God's will and you'll be fine, Trust him and he will help you on your way.

St Paul said we have three(3) parts to our being in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, KJV, quote, "AND THE VERY GOD OF PEACE SANCTIFY YOU WHOLLY; AND I PRAY GOD YOUR WHOLE SPIRIT AND SOUL AND BODY BE PRESERVED BLAMELESS UNTO THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST." According to St Paul, who once had an out-of-body experience per 2 Corinthians 12:1-4, we have a physical body, a soul body and a spirit. Everything in our physical earth world happens in threes(3s) because we are the third(3rd) planet from the sun, the ruler of our planet, our physical world. The Son(Jesus Christ) of God rules our planet spiritually. In St Luke's gospel, KJV, in 20:34-35, Jesus Christ references "this world" in verse 34 as our present physical world which we now live in. In verse 35, he describes a future post-resurrection physical world to come which he calls "that world", whatever world he is referencing. The puzzling unanswered question is, " In the Resurrection of the Dead, are our physical bodies, or our soul bodies instead, going to be resurrected?"

iTs very simple, we will live as we were intended to, if Adam had not sinned. The issue will be corrected. And God created us to work, love, create, etc. Im not sure why this is difficult to grasp. Its very clearly the hope of the entire bible. Eden 2, and no more death and sin.

Logically, at the start, they must be fruitful, and bred. At some point, the earth will be full, and, theyd need to NOT reproduce. UNLESS we are destined to spread out into the universe, as Gods plan... We are just about fille dup here on planet earth, another reason to feel this is very close to the end. It has to change. Even humans know this, you cant keep reproducing

I think this is great, however, I think it would be also good to include other perspectives, like Hindu, Jainist, Buddhist, Islamic, Daoist, Confusian and Shinto, to name a few. I'm sorry but one thing that always annoys me is when Westerners frame the debate to be either you're atheist or you're Christian, when there's a lot more views out there. Thank you.

Oh, add to that Modern Paganism, Native American Faiths, Judaism, Vodon, Ancient Egyptian Religion, Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism, Gnosticism, Stoicism, etc etc etc. The Christian tradition is great, but it isn't exhaustive.

There is the millenium prior, and it is described as time of renewing, it will be eden restored. The new heaven and earth is totally different. No temple, no sea. In the millenium those are there.

Jesus does NOT address whether there’ll be, sex. He addresses whether there will be marriage. And we have to take into account the context of the question which is who’s wife will a woman be if she’d been married seven times here. Very different than what is represented here. The Pharisees were asking a legal question and Jesus expands the context of the question. And he does not say that we will be sexless. The reference to angels is that they obey the will of God not because of religious or legal strictures but out of love. Our original creation was that of male and female. This was then declared by God to be, good. That is, good, best, complete, etc. Much of our identity and life experience is tied to our sexual identity and biology. Who would you be in the next life if this is all removed and replaced with the Gnostic dream of things? All that you learned in this life regarding the relationship between men and woman simply becomes mute. The joys of sex and the mystical experience of two becoming one yet remaining two. A huge dimension - perhaps dominant aspect - of our existence, consciousness and relationship with, “the other,” simply stripped away. What a lose. What a downgrade. How boring! I’m a guy so can’t comment on how women see men, but for my part, all art is nothing more than a shadow of the inexplicable beauty of a woman and an attempt to express it. If anyone reading this really wants to become a Platonic, androgynous salamander then I’m sure there will be some room provided you in the next world, but I really don’t think most people would choose that if they think about it for more than five minutes. God said in the beginning, “It is NOT good for Man to be alone. I will make for him a companion.” Personally, I think that’s a good idea and He did a wonderful job of it.
