I wish I could’ve seen him play. Such a unique individual. Everytime I hear the bass parts in certain songs of Metallica especially For Whom the Bell Tolls, I get so excited. Such a shame 24 years is all he wrote but what a 24 years it must’ve been to him. He did so much and lived life! Yes, us Aquariuses can be so intellectual and free spirited. Deep thinkers as well. We are very unique in energy and in how we live our lives. He felt the music and it showed when he played. He took up the bass and took off for the sky. He had the determination to learn that instrument and blew everyone away. Cliff was brilliant. It’s a shame he was taken the way he was but I’m glad he visits James and is doing alright. He’s missed so much. ❤️

Damn, he was only 24 when he died. Truly tragic. It really seems like the best people are taken way too early. I've been thinking about this for my own personal reasons lately. If you consider what a shithole the world can be it can seem like a mercy, but then it seems like all these people who are taken so early are also those who got the most out of life. Maybe someone out there's like, no, this world isn't good enough for you, we'll give you the real deal.

Cliff was different, because he was so real and honest. Almost like he had already reached human maturity far before everyone else. Maybe your right
@morgellon94492 жыл бұрын
@@dolantho I totally agree. I think a lot of that had to do with his upbringing, too. His dad was an awesome person, and I'm assuming his mom was, too. There's plenty of terrible people with great people for parents (I know one in my personal life right now who is really grinding my gears, in fact), but not many who have great parents. Yeah, life is complicated, impossible to say why things turn out like this, but it seems like the people like Cliff get taken early a disproportional amount of the time (I've also seen this in my own life).

I'm a couple month younger than Hetfield and first started listening to them even before I knew what they looked like, I think around 1983/84. I will always wonder what Metallica would've become had Cliff never been killed. I think they still would've evolved from Lightning and Puppets, to make something like the Black album, but more important, Cliff would've NEVER let them do things untrue to themselves, like making that self-indulgent monster movie or allowed Load to happen.
