Toney won this fight handily and I am a licensed judge. He also won the first fight with MG, but this one was much more decisive. Some judge had it 119-109 for Griffin. OMG he was on the take

No he didn’t….. Griffin won. Hands down. Toney boxed like crap in this fight. He was slow , sluggish and clumsy. He got beat. Case closed. TWICE ✌🏾

I had Toney winning this fight by 1 point. The first fight I had Toney winning as well, but by 3 points. Two close fights but as I said, I scored both of them for Toney.

Griffin won by a hair, but a win is a win. Toney will still be remember as the better fighter because of all the titles and big wins he had.

11th = Toney easily ! I think a lot of people are missing this : At the very least everytime they get inside Toney is landing a slick 3 punch combo 2 to the body and finishing to the head, every time at the very least when they get inside. 12th = Toney, 120 - 108 James Toney through 12 rounds, same as the first fight though very much a different bought. You could have given Griffin up to 4 rounds if you really wanted too, if you don't think that Toney doubled him up in won rounds than you need to look up and learn boxing judging. Everyone had him winning and even Foreman in this fight wasn't as pro Toney as he has been known to be in telling the truth in Toney fights while the others slight him. Both fights everyone had him winning except the judges and a few online Toney haters. Toney fought the fight critics and analysts said he should have fought in the first fight, clearly one this way as well and yet he was Robbed again !!! & you know what is funny though, Every time Toney has been robbed the opponents tend to raise there hands a couple times during the fight and especially at the end, and with theatrics, apparently that wins them the fight...

I don't care what the ring magazine says. and if YOU are a credible boxing fan you trust your own judgment. I scored both fights closely for Toney, and I am definitely not a Toney fan. Robbery is a strong word, but I don't understand why anybody can give both fights to Griffin when I felt Toney won both. Especially the 119:109 Griffin scorecard in the rematch tells you everything you need to know...

Terrible decision from three blind mice! toney made sure this time he stayed in control an montel couldnt do what he done in the first fight yet still the score cards were even wider! S,thing rather fishy goin on if u ask me!

The Right Man Won 🥇 Despite all of the favoritism shown by the commentators Montell Griffin was out boxing James Toney. Toney looked sluggish and clumsy and never put his combinations together effectively. Griffin was just slicker and hit harder. Go Griffin. ✊🏽

I agree griffin won the first fight. Toney didn't do enough in that fight. He expected to be given that win. You gotta earn it. But this fight toney won it. A blind man could have called that. But he did stop fighting in the last round and griffin stole it again. It's not fair but that's how it goes. You gotta fight til the end.

The 2nd in a series of robberies from James Toney, a fighter who has truly been robbed the most when it comes to how high a level fighter he is and in regards to his status. These robberies against James Toney through out the years are some of the worst and most impactful robberies in the history of any sport. The reason I say that is because the results and ramifications of these injustices really altered and hurt boxing as a whole as well the direction of this specific era of boxing. As far as James Toney goes, he was to great for them to truly ruin him or his legend. His legacy remains intact and he will forever be known as a great fighter, no questions. This negative agenda against James effected more so boxing as a whole, the fights that should have happened didn't happen, there will forever be shadows casted among the other great fighters of this era that ducked James Toney. There ducking James Toney was masked and aided by these robberies of sure James Toney victories. They were an excuse, a scapegoat so it would be acceptable to the unknowing watching it happen ever so blindly that certain fights and events did not and would not happen. For example, a rematch between Toney and Roy Jones never happened, Toney vs The Klitchkos never happened and I could go on and on to name big fights James should have had. This negative agenda and masquerade type deception enabled this to be acceptable to the public and the people who'm were not involved or did not have knowledge or actually acknowledge such an agenda or movement. This was the first of many, the start of the negative agenda against James Toney. The hard pill to swallow, the hardest bullet to take in this is that as great as James has been, as great as his legacy is; he could have had an even greater legend and legacy. The possibility Numerous more world titles, many more defining victories and a possible moniker or designation among the majority as maybe the greatest of all time... All that being said, They tried, they tried there damn hardest, but they would not stop him, this agenda would not succeed, they may have won some battles but James Toney won the war.

100 - 90 James Toney through 10 rounds given the fact you could have given Griffin a round or two and I wouldn't be mad at you. Toney is working his gameplan, busy with the jab, right hands, good defense and when they do get inside Toney is finding success where as Griffin's gameplan is not working, he is not countering James enough to win a round, his power is not effecting James, he's being backed down consistantly with out giving James anything at all to think about and oh his footwork has been pretty good though. George Foreman keeps on talking about Toney throwing his right hand and getting countered everytime when in fact most of Toney's right hands have gone absolutely un answered.

James Toney vs Montell Griffin 1 = 120-108 for James Toney, you could have given Griffin two rounds if you wanted to be nice. Griffin is extremely tough and a good boxer but as far as Griffin winning that fight ? Not even close ! James Toney won the fight by shut out, every single round. Griffin never took one single round. Like I said, if you really hated Toney and really loved Griffin you could have given Griffin two rounds in the first fight. 120-108 for James Toney. Mr. George Foreman didn't give Griffin one round in the first fight, not even like me as a nice gesture if you had too.

Toney's reaction is different than the first fight regarding the decision. First one he had a look of disbelief, but in this fight, a look of disappointment. Lmao! Again, poor Toney, went into deep depression. His answer to that is by binge eating. Them losses made him fat.
